This project involved the complete renovation of a derelict Grade II listed public house. The work included extensive internal restructuring and fit-out to maximize space. Build Nine collaborated closely with interior designers and architects to revive the local pub, which dates back to 1734 while respecting its historical significance within the town and incorporating modern values. In addition to the interior work, Build Nine carried out complete external landscaping and sub-structure alterations to relocate the car park, which has 22 spaces and a new entrance.
The previous parking area was transformed into the Hacienda Garden, which features a Cotswold self-binding seating area and an expansive planting scheme. Native English hedging, including Yew and Beech, were used to define the boundaries, complemented by natural materials like Cotswold chippings. To uphold sustainable practices, all redundant materials were managed responsibly, reusing or recycling concrete, hardcore, wood and soil.
From heritage restorations to contemporary new builds, we turn vision into reality with precision and care. Start your journey with a team that understands your ambition.
